EnergiSense operates at energisense.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights available to you.

We are a solar and roofing advisory company based in Long Island, New York. We do not sell advertising. We do not operate a lead-resale business. Your information goes to Alex Lubin — the founder — for the purpose of providing you with a solar or roofing quote.

We collect the following categories of information through our website forms:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional — we do not require it)
• Property address or zip code
• Monthly electric bill amount
• Project type (solar, roofing, or bundle)
• How you found us
• Project notes you provide voluntarily

We may also collect standard server-side data automatically — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referral URL, and timestamps. This data is used to diagnose technical issues and understand site traffic. It is not tied to your lead record.

We use the information you submit to:

• Prepare and deliver a personalized solar or roofing quote
• Follow up with you about your inquiry via phone, email, or text
• Route your lead to our project management system for proposal tracking
• Comply with applicable permitting, utility interconnection, and financing requirements

We do not use your information for marketing campaigns to unrelated third parties. We do not add you to broad advertising lists. If you have completed a project with us, we may contact you with service-related updates (e.g., warranty information, monitoring alerts).

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Financing partners: If you request $0-down financing, your information is shared with the applicable lender to run a credit evaluation and generate a financing offer. You are informed of this before submission.
• Install partners: EnergiSense works with trained installation partners. Your project details are shared with the crew assigned to your job for scheduling and installation purposes.
• Utility and permitting authorities: Your name, address, and project specifications are included in interconnection applications (PSEG, Con Edison, NYSEG, etc.) and permit filings (NYC DOB and local municipalities) on your behalf.
• Legal or regulatory obligation: We will disclose information if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.

We do not sell your data to lead aggregators, data brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes. Period.

This website may use cookies and third-party analytics scripts to measure site performance, understand traffic sources, and improve the user experience. These may include Google Analytics or similar tools. These scripts collect anonymized, aggregated behavioral data — they do not access your lead form data.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to submit a quote request.

We retain your information for as long as your project remains active or until you request deletion. If you submitted a form but did not complete a project, we retain your lead record for up to 24 months for follow-up purposes, then purge it unless you have consented to longer retention. Completed project records are retained for the duration of your warranty period to facilitate warranty claims and monitoring support.

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, or request deletion of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at alex@energisense.com. We will respond within 30 days.

While New York does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy law equivalent to GDPR or CCPA, we honor deletion and access requests regardless of jurisdiction.
